1) Mwabana Training Center 

Our beneficiary sells cassava flour, corn, and dried fish. With the proceeds from her small business she paid school fees, purchased books, uniforms and supplies for all her children, resulting in her daughter graduating from secondary school. She was also able to pay her medical expenses when she became ill.

2) Mwabana Center Entrepreneurship Program 

Our beneficiary sells charcoal, dry fish, oil, salts, and condiments. From the income generated by the sale of these products, She paid her daughter’s medical expenses and provide food for her family. She was also able to pay the school fees for two of her children, bought their books, and uniform

3) Mwabana Center Housing Assistance program 

Our Beneficiary sells sugar cane, charcoal, and other condiments. Her four children are enrolled in school. From her small business, she paid for her children’s school expenses. When she and her son became ill, she was able to pay the medical expenses. Her older son provides some income to the home by washing cars, which helps to pay for his school uniforms and books.

8) Mwabana Center Medical Assistance Program 

Our beneficiary is a grandmother who is left to care for her eight grandchildren. The children’s mother died, and their father abandoned his family. She made rope to support her family, which was hardly enough to cover basic necessities. After receiving the small contribution from MC&M, and with the help of her granddaughter, she began selling used women and children shoes. The income from their endeavor pays for the children’s schooling. 

5) My Child and Me’s Educate a Child Program 

Our beneficiary used the money she received from MC&M to purchase a pig, rabbit, hens, and guinea pigs. She also operates a small business selling fruits. From the income generated from her fruit selling business, she paid her children’s schooling for the third quarter.
