Since 2017, My Child and Me has dedicated a sector of work to assisting children. Children in the Democratic Republic of Congo, those from impoverished families and those living in rural areas especially, are of the most vulnerable groups in the country. They are at risk of forced marriage to alleviate economic burden on families and frequently subjected to forced labor in order to support their family’s mere survival.
At My Child and Me, we aim to protect children and restore their right to grow and develop through formal education, healthy lifestyle choices, and opportunites to pursue their hopes and dreams.
